I thought this was an interesting, well-thought out book. Usually I don’t like it when books get too many story lines going, because it seems like some story lines don’t get fully developed. However, the author does a really good job of touching on all the different characters and their lives without detracting from the main story or short-changing the peripheral stories. The message is a good one throughout the book, forgiveness is a difficult thing to offer and sometimes even harder to accept. I had not read the other books in this series, but I will be sure to read them in the future and then reread this one. Overall, an interesting book that I would recommend!
